Our café became Brother Hubbard South in 2016, having originally opened its doors in 2014 as ‘Sister Sadie’ in response to the demands of Dublin’s south-siders for a Brother Hubbard presence on their side of the Liffey. Located just off Camden Street, one of Dublin’s most varied streets, and a mere 10-15 minute walk from the city centre, Brother Hubbard South quickly became a destination for locals and visitors alike who are in search of a warm welcome, interesting coffee and a refreshing, creative and pure approach to food. Whilst sharing the same DNA, Brother Hubbard South is very much an individual, bearing some family resemblance to its longer-established north-side sibling. Open for breakfast, brunch (7 days a week!) and lunch. Occupying a calm spot on leafy Harrington Street, we’ve a large dog-friendly and non-smoking outside seating area, as well as cosy interior – we are available to look after you no matter what the weather (and also available for private parties and events).
